you could buy just one box, click them together in front of the slide and see what happens.

Let's see if I can post a couple pics...this forum is not set up too well for pictures, I notice.
I for one would like to see pics of some of the installs.
Nope, I can't find a way to post pictures...if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. And no, I am not going to open an account on a picture hosting site...

We put laminate in our last TT. To get around the slide dragging across the laminate we just used some of the old carpet cut into 12"x12" squares and turned upside down. We would lay these down where the slide tipped in as it retracted. The slide would them slide the carpet squares along the laminate as it came in. When the slide was out we would just pick the squares up and store in a closet.
Our 5er the slide works a little different. It is flush when out the old one wasn't. Any way it worked for us. Still thinking about getting rid of carpet in this trailer. Good luck, John

Do your sliders actually sit on the main floor when in? I have been thinking about laminate but our sliders slide in on top of the carpet, I would think the laminate would get all scratched up with the sliders dragging on it.
