Jazz 5th wheel

We are looking to get a "new to us" 5th wheel...we've had our '95 coachmen classic for 10 years (24ft), and would like to get one a little larger and with a slide or 2. I had pretty much decided on a small Artic Fox, Desert Fox, or Jayco model but have run across a small 2007 Jazz 2550 that appears to be in good shape (I plan on doing a much more thorough look at it, if warrented, after some research on line). I've not been able to find mcuh info., good or bad, about them. I know they were a Thor product at that time etc. but can't seem to find opinions from real owners. So, I have been a lurker on this forum for a few year now....I'm askin' u folks if you have any info. on quality etc. Thx!

Thx J-mans Dad!!! We just got back from looking at it & it really looks well taken care of. It has been stored under roof except for 2 months a year for the past 6 years. I wasn't able to get on the roof because of he ceiling above it....but will do that if we pull the trigger. Do u know if it's on a Lippert frame?

Thx for the responses folks!! At least no one is having any major issues. We are going to the Pomona RV show next weekend as well. I've not actually been in a Northwood product (Arctic Fox & Desert Fox) so I wanted to really check one out before I started traveling to look at used ones. I guess I'm gonna have to go take a good look at the Jazz since it is local (Craigs list as well). I was able to see that they originally listed it in July & is now listed for $1000 less. ($16K)

Thx again!!

We have a 05 model 2870 with one slide. Trailer tows nice and is finished well inside. We have owned it for three years now with no problems, only regular maintenance. I think they were a well appointed lower priced trailer. I think Thor Calif went out of business around 07 or 08, so no manuals or dealers available. Don't see a lot of them on the road but we like ours. After having this one for 3 years, we are looking for something a little larger with a slide in the bedroom.

I have a 2008. 2650, it is very nice. I did have to replace the seal around the slide. Other than that just minor maintenance

Brian,
We scored Craigslist beauty about 5 years ago. Thor California (now defunct) Jazz bunkhouse. Previous owner took it halfway across Canada and back. We've run it up and down the west coast. Still looks good like the day we got it. I think a lot of it has to do with how an owner maintains the coach. I've only added a back up camera and vent covers aside from routine PM work. I've never really found a Jazz owners forum but counted at least 4 different ones on the road when we went to Oregon. PM me if you want more info.
