When traveling down the road, do most people remove the pads/mud sills from the landing gear or do they leave them attached? This is my first year with a 5th wheel. Thank you.
I've also never seen anybody with a 5th wheel remove them.

If those come into contact with anything when fully retracted you've got bigger problems.... as in the rear axle of your truck and half the bed will be missing ๐๐
Mine stays on. I have never seen or heard of one being removed for travel. They aren't going to come into contact with anything during travel if they are fully retracted.
