Final config on the truck.
2013 Ram 2500 cummins 6.7 6cyl, 8 foot bed. B&W Patriot 3200 16K non-slider.
Towed my rig home last Saturday, it was a dream. Getting excited for a real trip in a couple of weeks down to Southern Colorado.
SouthFork, maybe Ouray.

Is this a long bed truck? That Reese doesn't look like a slider. Model # 30047?
Yep, long bed.

Do yourself a favor and get a hitch with equal or more capacity than the truck is rated for. Larger trailers seem to just happen.
Example. Our truck is rated to tow up to 17,050 pounds. We installed hitch rated to 18k. And guess what we are now looking at trailers with 16 to 16.5k GVWR.

This would be my choice for quality and price. Look at several brands before deciding, unless you have decided on the Reese only.

OK, finally decided on the truck for hauling my new 5th wheel, 2005 Silverado 3500 with Duramax, auto tranny, single rears. Now planning on having the Reese 33047 16K hitch installed and getting the JT Strongarm kit for the RV (in my sig and profile).
Here's the specs
Hitch 1279
Gross 10079
Dry 7490
Cargo 2530
Fresh water 60
Gray water 35
Black water 35
Is this enough?

I think you mean 30047.
I seriously think you may like the B&W more. Powder coated. My painted Reese was starting to rust even though I use a tonneau cover. Tweetys shipped my 18K hitch in one day. Here's a 16K non slider using the industry standard rails if that's what you have. 16K
