New To 5er

I am going to be new to traveling between states with a 5er. I want to get some information with regards to what the, if any, rules or regulations are with having to get weighed and stuff like that. Is this something that needs to be done or not?

Any and all input would be appreciated.

Earle - Arizona FW owner here too. You do not need an endorsement or special license to pull a FW in Arizona. And you don't need to do anything special if you drive it to California.

Not to stray off topic but Heartland's website lists the GVWR as 15,500 lbs. Not sure what state you're in but if you're in California, you'll need a non commercial class A driver's license if you don't already have one. Dealers like to avoid this little tidbit.

However, if rig looks too big for the TV, the nice cops have been known to pull you over to verify that the tv is indeed rated to pull the rig.
