Was just wondering that if the water heater ever goes out about maybe an on demand LP water heater install. They make them sound like they are very economical.
Has anyone had any exper with one of those, positives or negitives?

I have the girard tankless water heater. There is a learning curve to using it. You also will do better if you have the oxygenics shower head too. Now that I have learned the little things about it I love it.

My son uses my 5er more then I do and he keeps telling me it works perfectly.

I spent all winter in my 5er and it worked perfectly for me. I have never had a problem with it.

the only ones I've seen are gas only .... with that being the case, unless folks want to heat water by paying for propane instead of using the CG electricity, I don't see much value in having one

By their nature, the water temp will vary with the flow rate. You'll get cooler water with the taps on full. Part of the price you pay for the economy of not storing and keeping hot a bunch of water. The result is that there is a slightly different technique needed in setting your shower flow up in order to get stable temp. And turning on the sink while someone is in the shower is guaranteed to freeze 'em out. The upside, besides economy of operation, is that there is no limit to the amount of hot water you get.

Some folks adapt to the differences easily and like 'em, some folks can't/won't change their ways and hate 'em.
