Onan Generator Air Filter

It's time for me to replace my filter & saw K&N makes a reusable filter for the generator. Anyone use them? I've never had issues with them in my toys. Anyone have any first hand use, or advise? Thanks.

Mine seem to last a good long time even tho we desert camp the most, so price isnt that much of an issue. Now oil i change alot, in fact its due again.

Tip: I use a vacume extractor to remove the oil, quick, easy and no mess.

I've been ordering them all from Amazon lately, they actually carry them (ships and sold by Amazon) and are prime eligible. Free shipping and better prices than anyone else locally. They also carry the WIX version of the Onan air filter for less, 11.99 instead of 14.99. Last time I checked pricing at an RV shop it was almost triple what Amazon wants.

AS to your original question, I only run the original or equivalent, never aftermarket. I'm not a fan of K&N when it comes to dirty places (like the desert).

I believe WIX makes these filters for Onan.
You can get the exact same OEM filter from (WIX)Napa Auto parts.

This is just for the air filter, not true for the Napa oil filters listed for the Onan genny,,, they are the wrong length imo.

Answers seem unanimous. I've had luck with them, but my quads and stuff also aren't running (sometimes) for days on end non stop.

As asked above, any recommended spots to buy. The cheapest I found was about $12 online for myour filters, part# 140-3280. Thanks again.
