I just noticed that the bottom track for the shower door is not caulked and water is coming under it. Is that normal to not caulk there?

Yes the horizontal openings (weep holes) should be towards the inside of the shower.

It would not surprise me if the track was installed backwards.

It is normal to caulk the outside only on a shower track - simple reason; The tracks often collect water during showering. Any water that gets inside the track is designed to flow back into the shower.

Yep-Shouldn't the horizontal openings also be towards the inside so water can drain back into shower? Lee wordsdell stated his was on the outside.

FR has the worst rv construction crew on the books. when I had my FR I had to go through the tt with a find tooth comb and redo every thing. I finally gave up and traded it in and let a dealer mess with it. the TT was so bad they even had different sized tires and wheels on it. when I sold TT's I had a customer when looking at a TT put his hand through the wall of a TT when going up the stairs in a fifth wheel. guess what I lost the sale on that one

I just caulked mine on the weekend. Water was getting by the last track on the door. There are 3 small holes at the end and it was open to the outside of the shower. the other holes where caulked . I caulked both ends of shower and it stopped

Certainly not normal for water to come under. I have never looked at mine to see if it was caulked. But I have never had water under it in 9 years. My bet would be that someone failed to complete their job on that one.
