Well, we're pretty much stuck here in Apple Valley, Minnesota until we hear back from the Cardiologist, hopefully tomorrow. Even if he has great news or I have to see him again next week, there is no way to get an RV site within 100 miles for Labor Day weekend.
So, we might be sitting in Wally World parking lot for three days but we'll make the best of it.
That said, where will you be spending the holiday?
Wherever you go, enjoy yourselves and have a Safe And HAPPY LABOR DAY! Hugs, Di

We'll be in the cool country of Northern Arizona. Nice to get out of the desert heat.

You should take in the State Fair, only ~30+mins from Apple Valley. LOTS of good food (recommend the malts at the dairy building), and a sea of people.

Being fulltimers, we we're always on the road and have to stay somewhere BUT we do usually try to be in a park before the weekend starts but if not, we just go with the flow.

We opted to stay home this Labor Day and enjoying our drive-way camp. Last couple holiday camp-outs at State Parks were absolutely nerve-racking. I still wonder why we leave our peace and solitude of our home between a corn field and a bean field to put up with the crazies at State Parks!

Now camping at them between Monday and Friday is great! But holidays? Oh my! The young and wild can have their fun. I'll not deny anyone for that. But sometimes, it's just too nuts for us.

Amen. We never waste $150+ of diesel on a trip to a crowded, noisy park.

Sitting home waiting for everyone to get off the roads. Which, in reality, in CA is almost never! The week after Labor Day we hope to be in the Eastern Sierra Mountains.
