Thanks my Friend. I was US Army from 1971-1981. They sent me to Germany for 3 Years instead of Vietnam . It helped that I took German for 5 Years in HS and College.. I was one of those Guys that some other Soldiers loved to hate. I was an Army Cook. I am now a disabled Vet.

Wasn't stateside very much while serving but I proudly wore my uniform when I was.

Served from '64 to '68 and was NEVER afraid to wear my blues. Back then we were required to wear them when traveling under orders or flying military fare. Wasn't always treated with respect but I didn't enlist to impress discenter.
