Dumped all the tanks (fresh & waste) because of well below freezing temps forecast. Not cold enough to winterize through.

I don't use the EZ lube feature myself, for a lot of reasons. I suggest it's time to do a full inspection of all axle and brake assemblies. Might as well, saves $$$

Double check the seal sealing area for nicks, gouges, dings, etc. I've seen quite a few of these things that have been assembled with badly damaged sealing area. The EZ-Lube regimen sometimes gets blamed for assembly when the actual problem is lousy/damaged bearing surfaces.

Lubricated the LR brake shoes. :M
Appears the seal was not installed properly and leaked during "E-Z" lube procedure.

Ordered new brake assembly and 4 seals.:(

Replaced about 6 feet of wall footer at front of trailer and about 5ft by 18" section of flooring. Screws in bottom of passthrough hatch on "low side" of trailer leaked last winter and rotted out the wood all around there. I have since added downspouts to keep the water from running down the side of the trailer. And of course, sealed up the screws in every hatch on the trailer.

Not sure where you are getting your 6V's at.
I got mine at Costco for $75 each.

Yeah, Costco, Sams Club, and Walmart all have good prices on 6V's. I stopped buying Trojans after government use drove the prices up.

Added a second battery. One would not power the furnace fan through the night.

Camper manufacturer built the battery rack so than two group 24 batteries in separate battery boxes would not fit end to end. Brilliant design. :R

Had this bracket on each end of the rack. One had to go.

Couldn't reach just the weld with the grinder, so I had to grind down the whole piece of angle steel to get to the weld.

A little rattle can primer.

24" battery cables for parallel connections from the auto parts store.

Now maybe I can warm up the camper to take a shower in the morning.

Should have just converted over to 6V's. You wouldn't need more than 2.

Considered it.

Two 6 volt batteries are about $270.
One 12 volt battery is about $100.

Maybe next time, a few years down the road.

Added leads for the Battery Tender. (Left the lights on inside and ran the batteries down to 9.1. Not enough sunlight to charge, I guess.) Meant to do that soon, just didn't plan on doing it at 9 at night. Not sure if the refrig will run on gas without 12v also. Keeping it ready to go for our trip to Oregon this coming weekend.

no, fridge needs 12v (or close) to operate at all.

Thanks....figured was required, so hooked up leads. Where I park trailer, is not a good place to have the RV power cord attached. I was gonna do the Battery Tender thing anyhow, just hadn't planned on in the cold and dark!!!
