What does this mount to?

This "foot" was in the front storage area of a new Jayco fifth wheel I just purchased. It has rubber feet on the bottom and is some sort of a stand. I have been unable to figure out what it is supposed to hold. Can anyone tell me what it is for? Thanks.

My guess is that it has nothing to do with your 5er but is something forgotten from some ladder or seat. I found a couple wood handles in our last 5er that were never explained - and didn't fit anywhere so .......
A couple RVs back, privately purchased, I found a survival knife, a 3 cell maglight and about ten bucks worth of change and bills. Had the PO done what he promised, I would have returned the knife and light but a couple hundred bucks later, I did his 'promised' work.

Perhaps it doesn't go to anything. An impish worker may have thrown it in there just for a prank. I had a coworker once who used to work in a farm machinery factory. They would occasionally throw some corn planter parts into the crate with a hay baler and just imagine people trying to put it together. In all seriousness, however, the dealer may know what it is if it is a usual Jayco item.

On edit: My Keystone Cougar has a rack very similar to this in the front compartment for extension cord/water hose/etc. I am certain this is what it is for.

Just for giggles....open up that sofa bed and check if both frame supports are there (side of frame rail towards end)

Otherwise......
Contact Jayco and inquire
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Looks like about the right height to hook onto the bottom of the stairs for support. But then where does it go where you fold them up? Just a guess.....

No, it is light weight. I thought it may have been a stand for a tv but no tv's that small. Also thought it may have been for outside grill but again no.

I always use the advanced post form here for my photos... Requires a good public access URL starting HTTP...

Now for some reason I do not see your original photo but now it is a logo of Lunapic link or something like that...

Not going to try to link to it for fear of a virus now...

Yup, I did too, on rv.net, but much larger than the standard one I posted.
