I'd like to give a huge THANK YOU to Brad, the Moderator over the Truck Campers forum for his assistance with this thread.

Thanks also to RVcrazed51 for his request for this thread.

Post photos of your Fifth Wheel on this thread. Any photo with a 5er in it is allowable; any brand, any year.

This thread is generally for Fifth Wheel photos only. But feel free to post comments on posted photos.

Because this thread is very long, I will occasionally clean it up by removing the older posts that do not have Fifth Wheel photos and other off topic material. Also, please limit photo width to 640 pixels by using: width=640. Please do not post thumbnail size photos, they are just too small to see.

Register at photobucket.com (free), download your pictures (takes a while), hi-lite and copy the URL, then use the "image" icon to paste the photo URL.

Hi everybody, I'm looking to buy a fifth wheel, hopefully by the end of the year. And I was just wondering if some of you would care to post some pics of your fiver.

Mr Yesterday that was really cool to see your progression ... I'd say you've earned your RV street cred! Looks like the first camper could fit in your Montana ๐Ÿ™‚

Isn't it great to "graduate" up to something - even though it takes time, it really helps you appreciate it!

I started out pipelining driving a Bonneville, and staying in hotels.
Then I decided I should get a trailer to save some money, so I got a jeep grand cherokee and a 20' 1972 Terry Taurus.

That was fine for just me, but when my wife had my son we decided to get something larger.

We got a Dodge Ram 1500 and a 30' 1995 Gulf Stream Conquest.

I liked the layout. It had individual rooms, and a lot of storage. But with no slides it was really cramped for us all. My son was learning to walk, and my wife was getting cabin fever, so we knew we needed something a lot bigger, with more luxuries of home, and a lot more room.

In comes our dream rig. I got a 2001 Chevy Silverado 3500 dually with a 496 big block (I'm a hot rod fanatic) so we could get a trailer big enough for all of us, and load it to the gills with all of our stuff, since we'd be on the road most of the year. I chanced on a 2010 Montana 3750FL with 5 slides, a king bed, a washer/dryer, residential sized fridge, and a huge living room with a great entertainment center. Best part, it was stayed in a total of 2 weeks worth of overnight stays, it was only pulled 10 miles from the dealership to where I bought it, and I got it for $20,000 less than the NADA price. It still smells new. I honestly don't think there's a better layout for our family. My wife would like a tub, but you have to make some compromises. lol

So, I am new to the forum and figured I would post a picture of my rig. We previously had a 1991 Wilderness 29L TT that we got our feet wet in. Had it for about 7 years and sold it this fall. Looked around for a couple months and found this really nice 2005 Wilderness Advantage AX6 305RLDS. No, I did not go out of my way to get a second Wilderness, but hey, it just seemed to work out. Anyway, here are pictures of our new (to us) ride just minutes after signing the papers:

Welcome aboard! That's about the same size fiver I started with. Congrats and happy campin!
