I'd like to give a huge THANK YOU to Brad, the Moderator over the Truck Campers forum for his assistance with this thread.

Thanks also to RVcrazed51 for his request for this thread.

Post photos of your Fifth Wheel on this thread. Any photo with a 5er in it is allowable; any brand, any year.

This thread is generally for Fifth Wheel photos only. But feel free to post comments on posted photos.

Because this thread is very long, I will occasionally clean it up by removing the older posts that do not have Fifth Wheel photos and other off topic material. Also, please limit photo width to 640 pixels by using: width=640. Please do not post thumbnail size photos, they are just too small to see.

Register at photobucket.com (free), download your pictures (takes a while), hi-lite and copy the URL, then use the "image" icon to paste the photo URL.

Hi everybody, I'm looking to buy a fifth wheel, hopefully by the end of the year. And I was just wondering if some of you would care to post some pics of your fiver.

"I have an '01 8.1/Allison combo in a crew cab and love it. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine. It's main duty these days is pulling car trailers and tractors.
One thing about your pic. Check your clearances often as a buddy of mine just cracked the nose of his fiver with the bed rails you have on yours. Plus, he bent one of them badly.
Enjoy your new truck and happy camping!! "

I was worried about that too. They seem to clear well but thanks for the head's up. I was ready to take them off the first day I hooked up. Not married to them. I have not checked to see if flex when crossing uneven spaces might become a problem. Just thought of that. And yes, I love the TV already. I pulled my daughters 2 horse with it yesterday. Like there was nothing there!

Time to get the rig prepped and ready for the season. Have multiple trips planned and need to de-winterize and prep the Rocky, and get the TV double checked.

Pulling my Rockwood 2650 WS that we picked up in the Fall. Few trips and we love it! My1500 Silverado left me feeling a little underpowered, so in January I found an '06 Silverado 3500 with the 8.1 gasser and Allison transmission. Dropped the Rocky at the dealer for servicing and prepping, dropped the TV (affectionally named by my daughters as "Big Black Chevy" which, while a little edgy is legit since I own two other Silverado's, both red Big Red and Little Red) for transmission fluid change, filters and basic LOF and brake check. All will come together soon for a trip in a week or so to Tablerock! Can't wait!

Upgraded from a Coleman travel trailer to a 2018 Grand Design 303RLS. The rear living floorplan with opposing slides is awesome. The 2018 models come with upgraded stove and convection microwave. The fridge was upgraded to a double door, and we had the front AC with thermostat installed. The auto leveling system is simply awesome! And when hitching back up, it pulls up the rear stabilizers and sets the front jacks to drop off height. Pulling with a 2017 RAM 2500 6.4 Hemi.

Shakedown trip was at Reed Bingham state park in Georgia. Had a full hook up pull-through site.

Experience without good judgment is worthless; good judgment without experience is still good judgment!
