I have been with a major insurer for 7 years now and think the rates are getting a little high. They are still lower than Good Sam, according to their latest quote.

Can anyone recommend an insurance company for full timers that I can inquire on line? I have read about some smaller ones, but of course cannot locate them now.

Thanks

They offer multiple companies and got us a better price than what we had been paying, They handle a lot of RVs.

This is who we use and at PRESENT, our insurance is through National Interstate.

However, every two years we get a new round of quotes and we switch if we find a better price. You need to do homework for insurance.

Also keep in mind that what one person pays isn't what you might pay. Everyone is different depending on age, type of RV, other vehicles insured, driving record, etc. You just can't compare one to another. You need to call many places asking for the EXACT same quote and only you can decide.

I just got off the phone with Poliseek. Talked to an idiot named Sara that tried to tell me my Tiffin Allegro 34TGA is a bus conversion and that makes the rates higher. She said that Blue Sky calls it a conversion but I have other quotes that don't. She basically said that I did not know anything and she was the expert. Stay away from this agency or at least this dummy.

We have GEICO. My rates are cheap and I have been with them for many years. I would trust them to be there when I need them more than I would a no name insurance company. They have rates for full time RVers. But if you are stationary for more than 30 days at a time then you will be given a homeowner policy which will result in higher rates.

I have insurance with Blue Sky, but I found them through Poliseek which works with a bunch of different insurers. Haven't had a claim yet but the prices were good and the policy is a true full-timers one.

They specialize in RV Ins.........especially FT'rs type of coverage.

Little over 6 yrs. with them, Homeowners type policy For the type/coverage we wanted nobody came close.
Two claims....one minor/one major. Quick, efficient and no hassles.
Good customer service and no rate increases
