Recommend a good document scanner for the rv

Hello! It seems I am in need of another appliance! I need to get a document scanner for the RV. Being Full-Time RVers, we have drastically cut down on the amount of paperwork we carry. However, we'd like to par down even more. We need to get a good document scanner to scan up anything that we deem important enough to keep a copy of. So, it needs to be small enough to carry around in the RV - however, it needs to create a really good quality copy PLUS we are getting rid of any extra storage we have outside of the RV so I have a bunch of paperwork in file cabinets that I need to scan up so I need something that will stand up to that test. Something that I could insert multiple pieces of paper in and that could scan front and back at the same time maybe. Any suggestions?

I bought a Scansnap and love it. Two side scanning and very fast. Stores great and easy to use.

The two sided is the hard part. If you are willing to load the paper I think a good ALL IN ONE printer will do the job. You will then have a printer, copier, fax on the road with you

I understand everyone's comments on using my phone...I currently have a document scanner on my phone and I do use it often. However, I need something more heavy duty for the large quantity of paperwork that I am currently storing and need to get rid of.

I use the app Turbo Scan on my iPhone. Of course it doesn't bulk feed but it does a decent job and converts multiple pages into one pdf that can be emailed. Just remember to save the scan, which I like to do by emailing it to myself or to another cool utility, Evernote.
Fulltiming until I have seen everything I want to see, it isn't fun anymore, or I run out of money. Let's hope it's not the last one.

I use a DOXIE Scanner. Small unit, decent software, does the job nicely and doesn't take up a lot of space.

Any scanner from about $25 and up will do the job.

There are phone apps that allow you to take a picture and the app will automatically crop the picture and convert it to a pdf file.

I you want something that will not only scan but will also organize your files, look at the Neatdesk.

Just take a photo with your phone!
Save in a separate file, if you need a hard copy , pull your rv over by any kinkos or ups store, print off the cloud printer
