Every one that I have seen have a bedroom loft with maybe 3-4 ft of space above the bed. Certainly not doable at our age anymore!

Some of the newer Tiny Houses are RVIA certified.

I also watch Tiny House Hunters, Tiny House Nation and the others. I had to laugh when I saw the episode of the young couple driving through downtown NYC.

Lots of places state that only rigs with RVIA (Recreational Vehicle Industry Association) stickers are allowed. See that all of the time. Often that will be waived upon visual inspection - but it is very much in place in lots of parks to avoid having what they term as 'undesirables' at their park. Usually not a problem with parks with just overnights but will be if one wants to stay longer.

I remember, had one.

The rear door does not open where most campsites have the utility posts and/or sewer like this one does.

Of course, lots of private campgrounds insurance will not allow home made "campers" anyways.

Can you provide proof of that? I've never seen that on any campground paperwork from over 25 years of travel.

God love them for building it, but the down side would be the 'weight' of the house and the fact that my guess is that many CG's would most likely not let them in.

I've see the tiny house show on TV, and wouldn't consider buying one. A mid level to top end FW is designed much better, has all the proper systems to be self sufficient for several days, and weighs much less than the typical tiny house.

Ditto. I think we're much more comfortable in our 42' Toy Hauler which is our "house". We're living the dream and doing our own traveling in much more comfort than they seem to have. To each their own.??

Sorry, but I would rather have a MH that is made for traveling complete with holding tanks, a/c, big front window, and take YEARS to travel the country. Plus all RV parks welcome us - not true to 'tiny houses'.
