I have an opportunity to buy this motorhome for $45,000. It's 42' long with 3 slides, 10k Onan generator, in motion satellite, air bags and auto levelers among other things. Owner says it is in mint condition with 48,000 miles. It has a 400 HP cummins. Pictures are at address below. Sorry I can't make clicky. We've camped in a fifth wheel for several years, but never had a motorhome. I think the pictures are mostly from when it was new. Thanks for any input and advice. This price seems very low compared to what I've seen on the internet.

Forget about that rig. Now, let me show you this nice Foretravel, tucked into the right inside pocket of my rain coat...

Other than the entertainment value of hearing their story line, not worth a phone call...

If you are looking for a rig, keep looking, and best of luck...

Price hast to be a typo, or there is something BIG they're not telling you.

I agree! The $45,000 must be $145,000. Unless there is someing major wrong. This is the price of an 01 or 02.

May be a scam, but like someone else said. It could be an estate sale where no one in the family wants it and just wants it gone. Or a widow who doesn't want the reminder around. Just tread carefully and check it out.

For the sake of argument, assuming the coach exists and there is a one in front of it...it may have the questionable engine with the possible bad wrist pins. (those engines blew sky hi on the owners and the recall was to put a light on the dash in case it was happening)..if there isn't a one, someone is playing a scam.

If this is true, I would agree that it has to be a scam. There's no way the coach in those photos would even last 3 days, advertised at that price!!!

Sorry, but it seems too good to be true, then it probably is.

I really hope I am wrong, but I don't think so.

At that price, it would sell in minutes if not seconds. This has been advertised for about a month now.

Mtnfan, my heart just sank when I saw that selling price of $45,000. Ours may be available in 8-10 months with about 70,000 miles on it by then (65,000 now). I'm hoping to get at least 6 digits out of it as ours is an '08. It might just pay the taxes on the new coach I'm thinking about.

Something doesn't match up. That's a lot of coach for price. Worth the drive to check. Never know could be an estate sale. If they have the title in hand and no oil puddles under the engine take it. Even if it needs eight new tires the price is still to good to pass up.

Just to give you an idea of why the price is suspect. There are a few 06's listed, you'll get the idea.

I believe there's a (1) missing on the front of the price quoted.

Seems it is located in Houston Texas. No pictures in the original ad that I can find. It does list a phone number.

I think they left a (1) off of the price.
My advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.
