Add a shower to a coachmen

Anyone do this? I am interested in buying a smaller, lighter coachman but the coach only has a toilet with outside shower. Everything else is good. The toilet is midway back driver side, seats make a bed in the back. I've seen pictures of a kind of floor pan including the toilet holding it all on some models so I am wondering if this is doable and how much.

Yeah, it depends how fancy you want to get. There are lots of cheesy-but-effective ways to do it.

Ive seen this model before or similar with a floor cut out drain pan like a road trek. You remove a cover, stand in it pull the curtain out of the toilet stall, dry up and replace the cover. These style vans have a raised wood deck inside where the utilities are run underneath, phoenix, falcon and most coachmen I've seen.

Just wondering if its been done by anyone here and the costs as not factory. Otherwise van is perfect, low miles, Chevy 5.7 nice layout, low hr generator. For a guy wanting to run a dirt bike and stay out a couple to few days at a time seems perfect.

How about putting a cut-down tub on the floor and rig up a shower connection on your kitchen sink faucet? Poor the shower water in the sink when finished. Rig a simple shower curtain over the tub. Cheap, simple, and inside.

Anything is do-able, if you throw enough money at it, but this is one of those things that may not be worth the effort. Unless you are a "Little Person", you won't have any room, and you would be giving up additional space, which you don't have much of....and then, there is the plumbing issues, since the shower would have to drain into the gray-water tank.
It might be smarter to invest a bit more into a really nice outside enclosure for the outside shower, since you already have that.

Of course, there is probably someone who has made this conversion, so maybe you'll get lucky, and they can give you some advice.
