I have the same PORTER-CABLE that Brian in Michigan has. It works great. The tank fills to 150psi and then you set the output psi to what ever you want. They were around $90 on sale at Farm & Fleet.

Thank everyone for you comments. I do have a on board compressor with air hose but it only go to 120psi?

I have the same deal but cant get 120 PSI out of it. Had it explained to me but I still down understand it all??? PLUS the whole time I would need it the Cummins in the coach is running...and we have heard enough time of people *****in about big diesels ideling away.

My 120V Pancake compressor goes to 150 and fills my 295's easily...AND if I need to go "down the street" to another RVers place....I can tote it right along to inflate whatever they need air in.

Sears pancake model...cycles from 120 psi on the lo end to 150 psi on the top end.

I carry a 150 PSI pancake air compr and it works well on 22.5 tires.

As others have said, a 125 psi compressor is going to fill tires up to +/- 85 psi max. Go at least 50 psi over the required tire pressures to allow for line losses. Yes, a 125 psi compressor will work given enough time to allow the air to go from the greater of two similar pressures. That can equal many minutes of holding the air chuck against the valve. Also, the larger the tank, the fewer times you will need to let the compressor cycle when filling the tires.

I bought a pancake style Porter Cable 150 psi compressor at Lowe's several years ago. It works great putting 120 lbs. in my front 295/80R/22.5 tires. I keep about 105-110 in the rears. It will fill a bike tire in one blink! LOL!

I doubt that could ever fill a tire to 120PSI... It'll fill car tires ETC. without a problem...

The on board compressor (David0725) has on his coach would be able to... As stated before tap in and get a hose long enough to reach where you need to...

Tim

I have a staple gun that won't work unless it's at least 110psi. I have also used it to fill my auxiliary air tank. It's gauge will come up to 125. The unit will shut off at 140 psi on the internal gauge.

If you have air suspension & brakes you already have the compressor on the coach. Just tap into the line if there is not a connection already there. Usually one is there for a tow truck to use if you should need to be towed. They would hook up to release your brakes.

David, I suggest you go a bit bigger, I have a 125 PSI an lucky if I can get to 85-90 PSI. I read somewhere to go about 25% more than your required PSI. So my compressor is really great for tow dolly an car. Its on my list to upgrade to a 150 PSI.
