Buying a Class A without slides??

Hi, I am looking at a 2011 Hurricane 30Q, no slides but very low milleage and below 40,000 dollars in excellent condition.

I would like your opinion on a class A without slides. I currently have a Bigfoot Truck Camper, so just a place to walk and strech my leg, or walk around the bed in a class A is a great upgrade for me.

If I do not like it, would it be easy to sell back if price is right?

It says auto leveling system in the ad and the picture shows the awning extended. To the OP, Country Coach is a high end MH so the price reflects that.

Real hard to find a 32. When they come up they seem to sell fairly quick.
Here is a Country Coach 32 DP.

I am now leaning more toward an RV with slide, the no slides one was a Real Deal, but there are not many without slides.
I am looking at a DP since it seems to keep it's value, after it gets it's first big drop when it gets out of the dealer lot.
I look for a smaller version, like 32 to 35 foot, but they are rare.

I think it would be beneficial and informative if folks who have had slide issues would identify the age of the slides, the mechanism of the slides, and the manufacturer of the RV. if they build cheap junk, you will have cheap junk issues.

On our last mh with two slides that we had for ten years. We never had a leak, a leaking slide, nor replaced any flooring. It was an entry level DP Coachmen.

The amount of interior space with our four slide mh we have now is just awesome. Perfect for us as we head toward fulltiming.

Agree no slides translates to lower value. That said, we love no slides! I like driving without a slide directly behind my seat. Love our bus-style bay doors and their easy access. We mostly "motor" and only "home" for a few days, so no slides has worked out well for us. I love those 4-slide coaches when parked but boy, going down the road it's claustrophobic!

We have a class A no slides....dear friend has a TT with 3 slides. They have been replacing floors on different slides over the past year due to leaks twice. Have our motorhome no slides for 10 years...no leaks...knock on wood...I do over maintenance...don't want any leaks.

We started with out slides, now have 2. The one in the living room is the most important. Would'nt be without one and the more slides the better. We live in ours about 4 months/yr.

I have had my no slide unit for 14 years now. It goes very well into the places I like to go. I am in the process of repowering it and will be going many more places in it. I do NOT feel a need to get a unit with slides.

If you want slides, get a coach with them. But many of us don't need or want them.

It all depends on how you use your coach, not on how others use their coaches.

You can pick up some really good buys on RVs without slides. They are hard to move and dealers will deal. If this is your first rig, you can get into the RV lifestyle a lot cheaper with a no-slide out rig. If you like the lifestyle, I bet you won't keep the no-slide out rig long. We didn't. We had a really nice late model Southwind with no slides and we loved the rig but the slide-outs give you the space. We upgraded and now enjoy 2 slide out in our current Southwind.

our first coach was purchase this year. A 34 Foot Allegro Bay with two slides. We love the layout. Simple and seems to be efficent. An additional living room slide might be nice, but what we have works for us

a lot of your issues appear to show a poorly made/designed coach rather than a general issue with slides. I had no issues on my 14 year old winnie dual slides.
