ck engine lite comes on v10

ck engine lite comes on when fuel gage reaches 3/4 full
auto zone readout on codes calls for fuel system,,
engine runs good, gas mpg is 9-10.fuel filter hasbeen changed

what is wrong

I don't know why it worked but when our ck eng. light came on we filled it with she'll super and it went away. Also make sure cap is tight

If you are getting 9-10 I wouldn't touch it. I only get 8

Do you have the correct gas cap?

I didn't know until I bought a used C and they had put on the generic 7.00 gas cap......the one that belongs on it costs 20 or 30 dollars!

The correct one is made to tie into the computer how it locks.
