We had kinda decided we wanted a Jayco Seneca but was in Utah today and decided to look at toyhaulers as an option. Had planned on pulling enclosed trlr with bikes or SxS behind the Seneca but thought we could save alot of $ buy going the toyhauler route. Well that didnt work, made a deal on a 2014 Tiffin Red today.
Yes i will have to be careful of the weight. I have an enclosed trailer that i haul either motorcycles or a side by side and will be at the limit when loaded. This mh fit the price range and the floorplan was right so i can deal with watching what we tow. Other MH' s with the same engine have 10k towing so they must have the 3000 series allison.
The Red is a great coach and on my short list for the next rig in the drive way. One item to be careful of is the tow weight limit. Tiffin went with a smaller power train in the Red line to help keep costs down which can limit tow weight some what. The Allison 2500 is the weak link.
Brother and SIL bought a 2014 Allegro RED last summer... loves it. Four slides, residential fridge, tile floors, beautiful coach. Enjoy!
