Engine Coolant Question 2001 Winnebago

I have a 2001 Winnebago Brave 35C. I looked under the hood today to check on adjusting headlight beams and I found that my engine coolant reservoir is completely cracked. Ordered a new one based on the part number on the side. My question is do I just use regular 50/50 coolant like in my car? Also I have attached a pic and just wondering if the hose I am holding is just like an overflow? I couldn't find anywhere to re-attach it to. And I'm also assuming the cap just pops off. Haven't tried yet. Thanks a lot for all the help!

its a overflow hose that just pukes onto the ground;; yes just add 50/50 premix using same coolant as the engine currently has in it. mixing a dex cool with other car coolants don't hurt anything done it many times but having the option to use whats there now is your best choice

I think that the answer is staring you right in the face.
Doesn't the label on top of the overflow tank say to use Dex-Cool? That is a GM specific OAT blend coolant. If I remember correctly, it is bright orange in color when new.

You don't ever, ever want to mix any other type of coolant with an OAT type. It can be messy if you do. A 50/50 mix of Dex-Cool should be available at any parts store. It never hurts to have some along with you anyways.

For no more then the over flow tank holds and to avoid the risk of mixing anti-freeze. I'd just install the new tank and fill it to the line with distilled water.

Paul,
I think thats the overflow hose that drains to the ground. I would certainly replace the coolant tank and refill with the type specified for your coolant system, See lable on tank.
