Finding Dry Weight

I've been asked on a state registration form for the dry weight of my new Class A. How can I find it?

Texas wanted my dry weight when I registered it...I went to a junk yard to weight on their scales and they gave me a ticket with the weight...the Tag office accepted it and busted me for a hugh register fee...:)

In some states, the license fees are computed using the dry weight of the coach. It is in the best interest of the owner to provide the lowest weight possible

Not sure why your title would CARE what the RV weighed with absolutely nothing in it. Usually they are more interested in the GVWR (the MAXIMUM it can weigh) Often it's not even on the DOT safety plate because it has no legal standing.

I own a Winnebago and mine is at two places inside driver door and a plate that is in with all the Winnebago packets (big black folder)

Should be on the Certificate of Title or Manufacturers Statement of Origin that the seller or dealer gave you when you purchased the coach. You will need one of those to register it too. If used, the title and if new, the MSO.

It is either by your drivers door (if you have one), on the wall at the foot on the drivers side, or in a closet in back. I have mine in the closet in the bedroom. Mine is a Class C and my last 87 Allegro had it by the drivers foot. Check with the dealer or manufacturer.
