Flat Towing a Manual Wrangler

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times before but - can a 2014 Wrangler Sahara be towed 4-down without modification? I tow my automatic with no problem, just want to make sure there's no difference with the manual.

The owners manual on the 2013 year model is in error as explained by factory reps. No need to pull any fuses. That was for older models that still had a steering wheel lock and the keys was to be left in the ignition and turned on so the wheel would turn. If you have NO steering wheel lock there is no need to turn the key on.

Hook up...plug in lights...transfer case in neutral...transmission in Park or some gear...pull the keys and drag it away. We have nearly 13000 miles dragging our 2013..don't even know it's back there.

X2 I put my transmission in 5th gear. Have towed this way for over 25K miles. Never had a problem. Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.

Check manual. Mines a 01 I put transfer case in neutral and stick in third gear. Works for me.
