We finally found the Class A that met our wants and needs plus more. The cards all came up a winning hand. After three plus years of looking and dreaming we found a 2004 Newmar DSDP 40ft 4 slides 38000 miles like new condition inside and out. We put 1000 miles on it in the last three weekends working out our kinks and getting comfortable with everything. DW has been enjoying the ride and occasional drive. She likes to say it is her magic carpet. Coming up is a 4000 mile trip to the West Coast next week. We are very exited and we don't have to fly and stay in hotels. Yeh!

SRT Thanks for the (clicky). I'll get it figured out one of these days.
When we looked at the coach the first time we could not find any signs of hard usage. The carpet was clean and no stains. The couch looked like no one had ever sat on it as well as the chairs. Dealer had not touched it yet. We made an offer on the spot including full service and new tires. Dealer accepted and now it is ours.
2gypsies It would be fun to have a side by side sometime. Heading out to Pacific Northwest on Friday so we have been very busy getting ready and personalizing the rig.

I'm an old techie/programmer my self. Used to live in Shoreview for many years. Sounds like you guys have gotten a really good deal. Have fun in the PNW. Been there, done that. But I've always wanted to take hiway 20 (IIRC) across the northern Cascades, but it's not in the cards any longer.

We LOVE our 2004 40' Newmar Dutch Star...absolutely no problems with it. Being full-timers who travel constantly, we have 60,000 miles on it. Happy and safe travels!
