Time to renew, what do all you guys use? I have a class A and was thinking maybe sense FMCA is geared toward motorhomes, maybe that would be the way. Dont really like good sam

I had CoachNet and was pleased with them the 2 times I needed assistance. I let it laps because we had a dry spell for camping, and when I went to renew for some reason you could not get CoachNet in California! I had planned to sign up with GS but never got around to it. CoachNet finally fixed whatever the issue was and you can now get it in California again, I will likely renew this year.

For some reason as I read these posts, this seems to be regional. When one company excels and another is substandard, it is in a geographic area. So maybe check reviews within the area you mainly travel.

I have had GS since we started RVing in '06. Have used their services twice. They were prompt, courteous, kept us informed and arrived ahead of schedule on both occasions.

If I operated GSE and you came on my forum and called it Good Scam no one would ever see you post again. You don't have like them but trashing them like that is beyond disrespect. JS

We have Good Sam and had to use them one time so far. They kept us informed as to the progress of the tow company. Because of the snow and all the accidents, the tow company would be a while getting to us. They gave us the name of the company and their phone number. They called every so often to make sure we were ok.

Coachnet. It's the only one I know that will go outside of their network and are truly 24/7. I know this from personal experience. Had a tow driver for our Toad when it broke down on a trip. Tells me it was the best RSA he's seen and he was irritated at GS due to the way they negotiate his price and the frequency at which he got paid. He said Coachnet paid his full price and immediately. Coachnet kept me informed and when they couldn't find one in their network they just started calling in the yellow pages til they got a responder. He's in their network now and told me he'll dodge GS calls but takes all the Coachnet ones. Personally I'd rather have a happy tow driver than one who is doing the job on a negotiated price that he'll get paid for a month later. And Frankly if I had GS, I wouldn't have had a driver at all since they don't go out of network. Coachnet went the extra mile. That's my story. I've heard bad stories from both though
