I wash it out by running some bleach water thru it. :B

I was at a dump station and the guy ahead of me was walking around his rig and finally asked me if I had a hose with me so he could fill his fresh and move on. I said all I have is my dirty green hose that I only use for dumping. He said that's ok. I said but I stick it in my blue tote and dump hose etc. He said that's ok and stuck it in his fresh fill. This was also a dump only spot with no designated fresh fill.

I just simply go to a RV dump station or pick a park with sewer hook ups I really don't see the point of complicating a already complicated system
(that being the whole DPMH in general)

I use one. I modified this one to my own ideas.
RV Macerator Pump
The gray flow thru. Pump the black as needed. 75 feet thru a 3/4 inch hose. Works like a charm. No worry of overheating the 12 volt pumps.

I know this is in the class A forum, but it's applicable to any RV with holding tanks. It's a good idea.

I can't figure out where the pumping power comes from, to have any lift. Is it just the centrifugal force generated by the garbage disposal?

I don't know how far it will pump the Black stuff, but before I used it, I connected my 75' 3/4" garden hose and pumped out several gallons of clean water from my gray tank. Holding the hose about waste high, I was surprised that it shot the water up at least 10' into the air.
I also have a 12 volt macerator pump and it will not pump as high.

Slick idea just dont forget the dishwasher knock out :0. I have looked at the $200 12 volt pumps, thanks for posting your set up. I like it.

Interesting website too. I put you in my favorites.

Just curious - how do you accomplish the required tight connection at the campground or dump station?

Take a end cap for 3" pvc pipe, cut a hole in it so a hose connector will fit, place into the sewer donut then place into the CG sewer. If your sewer donut is larger than 3", get a 4" cap.
