How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?

I'm new here, and curious.

How many of us in Class C own Dodge B300 incomplete
cab/chassis based RV's? I know two others- Steve aka
Ripsaw, with a 1977 Brougham, and Leroy aka 1978_Dodge
_Delta who owns a 440V8 powered sharp looking 1978
Delta RV. I would like to ask, and offer, help, idea
swapping and comparing notes on our particular RV's
which are based on the Dodge B300 van chassis.

Yeah, I know. These are low tech, podgy old RV's that
would be considered "entry level" for folks like me,
but I have a deep and abiding respect for the quality
of these old "monsters of the open road". And anyone
wanting to pick brains, joke about, share notes or just
brag about our old A- Dodge-io's are certainly welcome
to PM or email me. Between all of us we can form a real
good support group, and help each other with problems
we know we'll encounter with an older vehicle.

Sure. I'd love a new RV. But I'd rather have an older
one already paid for, and a lotta great memories. Call
me frugal, an old hippie, or whatever you will. I'm proud
of my old land yacht.

Mopar Madness Manifest in the flesh,

Mark aka White Knight

P.S. Mine's a '72. Is there an older one out there someone's
motorvating in? Maybe even a Travco? W/K

Nope, 'cause I think your argument made perfect sense!

The upstairs reefer is the beer fridge around here (no garage/shop ๐Ÿ˜ž )

To Leeann's husband: You are one incredibly lucky man!!!! I'm turning
up a Guinness clone to you!

John - that thing is just too pretty ๐Ÿ˜‰ Any inside pics?

Leeann, I thought about letting you talk to the Mrs. but I just don't have the heart. She LOVES that big 'ol Maytag. One of our nephews has named it the "BFR" - "Big Fantastic Refrigerator" lol.

OK John and Eric- gotta see the inside of y'all's rigs. Soon as we get through the raccoon eviction in mine we'll have film at eleven.

Dang I'm happy!

Is that a Cadillac Eldorito? Your rig is far straighter than mine. And,
I bet, no raccoons. Me so jealous...

You bet I do! It's better in the fall, less mess/more time. I usually
brew a pilsner or lager style, and a Guinness clone. Rather than racking and bottling (I use Grolsch wiretop bottles) I'd like to use corny 5gal kegs and an apartment size reefigator (lol) in my shop. That way my YF wouldn't go ballistic over putting taps thru the doors of her Maytag 27c/f in the kitchen. I tried reasoning with her that if it had ice and water thru the door, beer thru the door as well would make it perfect. It didn't work. Think Leeann could shine some light on that? Yes- I spotted the garbage can real quick- you're a man after my heart- you recycle!!! I love that Fury wagon- wagons are so perfect as rods- you never expect a 'wagon to smoke you at the light! Or one of the big old Fury sedans State Police used to catch folks effortlessly in... Considering what you started with to finish photo, that's a pile of work and cash, man... invested perfectly.

Been wanting to mess around and brew a hefeweizen, and imperial (crankcase sludge) stout. Made mead before too- YF invaded that stuff and thinned my stock out. Biodiesel has me curious too, considering the Fleet is going the Black Smoke Way, I may need to brew that for
them.

What do you prefer? You can get pretty darn close homebrewing sometimes.
