With some help, I've finally been able to use my over the air TV antenna. I'm amazed at the quality of the picture. The Antenna is a King HD, it was on the motor home when I bought it. Nice to know, I have a source for local TV when traveling.

I sometimes think my OTA TT reception is better than my Directv reception at home! The digital OTA signal can be crystal clear!

X2- watching OTA news is very one sided. Wish we could get Fox for free

X2 Those commercials are a stitch.
I am shocked how many people I meet here that that don't understand how I can watch TV without cable or satellite.

My guess is unless you are an RV'er the rest of the "uninformed" public does not know about free TV over an antenna. Sadly it's all part of the dumbing down of America. ๐Ÿ˜ž

I recently put an antenna on the roof of my house and am enjoying free TV shows...

What 'type' of antenna did you buy?

When they start carrying all the programming that we enjoy OTA everywhere we travel, I'll consider dropping our satellite service. Until then...

I recently put an antenna on the roof of my house and am enjoying free TV shows. I added a Tivo Roamio that I ran the antenna into. Now I can record tv shows and play them back while Fast Forwarding thru the commercials. I'll stream HBO when it comes out.:B

The best high definition TV Is OTA. Satellite and cable high definition is processed and compressed to work, consequentially is not as good as OTA.

X2 I see absolutely no reason to 'pay' for TV while on the road.

I am at my winter house in Florida now and I ran a coax cable from my MH antenna to the house TV.

20 plus channels for free and they just keeping adding more and more. They just added a movie channel and go figure QVC just went 'over the air' too! :B

I think we are going to see a big swing back to over the air channel viewing and these stations crossing over know it and see an additional audience for making extra $$.

When I travel I take one of my DirectTV receivers and connect to my King Dome Satellite receiver, works for me and does not cost any additional as I have three receivers in my home.

X2! I'm already close to $90 per month for basic cable. Gonna see what I can get on my TTs antenna and if it's good, buy a good antenna for the house and dump cable.

And what makes it more amazing is the TV stations reduced their power output by a major amount when they went digital... I do this on radio from time to time, Voice, pushing 100 watts I can talk to most of the US and have made but one overseas contact (Being mobile/portable I do not have a fantastic antenna set up) Digital, modes, pushing like 30-40 watts, most of the world.

Same radio, Same wire antenna, just changed modes.

If you are in an area with a lot of trees, for example a state park that is still close to a major metropolitan area, you could still get what is called, digital pixelation. This is just as bad as analog snow.
