I have a white Rt and looking for suggestions on what to use to help keep it clean on the outside . It seems to get dirty with tons of small black spots . I clean it with spray 9 but they come back in no time . Maybe an application of turtle wax >

I read somewhere that using dryer sheets works great for removing bugs, so we tried it, IT DOES WORK GREAT, and the vehicle smells nice too.:B

I have to agree on the Mother's brand Clay Bar. For really stubborn spots you have to keep rubbing, but it will take it off and leave a smooth, clean finish.

Agree this stuff is "awesome". I've used it in the house for years. I assume you have used it on your RV for a while. And, the paint is not affected? Do you re-wax after you use it? Thx.

I will add that if your in a warm/hot climate, Carnuba wax is not a good choice, as it will get soft/melt and not last long. In those areas I would use something like ICE paste, or Nufinish. I prefer the ICE paste as it will not leave a white haze.
A little tip for removing the white dried wax that gets on black plastic trim, use smooth peanut butter. Put it on your fingers and rub the area, then wash well.
I learned this trick from getting some wax on my Jeep fenders.

retraite has the "System". There is no easy way to prevent paint oxidation and having an always dull and dirty exterior. If indeed you have black marks from dirt, creatures et all, they clean off easier with a well-conditioned paint finish which has a good base of wax. I find my Sprinter comes clean faster now that the vehicle has been prepared such as retraite has done. Never use liquid detergent on a waxed finish, though.

I just had my RVan "portered" aka washed, waxed, detailed. 1992 GMC Vandura I bought in 2011. Dont know if it was ever washed and waxed. They were sorta in shock when I drove in and they kept saying "badly oxidized". I got it back in fabulous condition inside and out. Not cheap, $300. From now on it will be $100 wash and wax (all by hand)couple times a year. I got it cleaned up before I left it at my auto body guy (he works out of the garage behind his house) so he could see what was actually in need of repair, like the rust area down near the step on passenger side, other spots and chipped paint.

Tons of little black spots. Are you sure it's not tar, or worse yet Artillery Fungus spores. If you can feel the spots, it's probably one or the other, but then again neither one of those come off very easily. My 07 Pleasure-way was covered with the spores and removing them was a bear.

OK, so I'm a bit "anal" in what I do, but ...

My preference is the Mother's family of products.

I start with a good wash, rinse, wash again (with "fresh" soap/water in the bucket), rinse and dry. Then,
I use a Clay Bar, then
Step 1 of their Ultimate Wax System, then
Step 2 of same, then
Step 3 of same is the wax. I use Carnauba - two coats.

I do not use any machines - it's all time and elbow grease. It takes awhile, but I sure like the results.

And, if after the clay bar I still have some spots or streaks, I use Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0. 'Tis amazing stuff.

Same approach for our cars, motorcycles and trailers.

Whew, I'm tuckered out jus' thinkin' 'bout it.

An Amazon "subscription" (carefully managed) keeps the product costs manageable.

Cheers.
