Getting ready to replace an internal part in toilet. Since the toilet must be pulled out, is it necessary to replace the flange seal prior to reinstalling?

Just completed that task yesterday. The replacement kit came with a rubber
donut for the toilet seal. An easy DIY job.

I just replaced he water valve in my Thetford and the kit came with a new seal. Not a terrible job and the kit came with instructions, good luck!

Might depend on what model Thetford you have. Mine is electric...no flange seal involved.

Yes, it is a good idea to replace the gasket. Many repair kits that require the removel comes with one.
