I'd like to make contact with others who own one of the new (2004, 2005) Pace Arrows so we can share experiences, problems, good things, etc.

Thanks rag!...I looked as best I could, but there are a LOT of harnesses under there, and I just couldn't see it or find it with my hands.

I also made a fairly lengthy post regarding our Atwood Levellegs systems on the Atwood thread that you might want to check out. I ended up having to unbolt my left rear from the frame in order to be able to drive home.

Jim, help me on finding that post on the Atwood Levelleggs you mentioned.
Thank's,Pat

Hey...does anyone know the location of the parking brake sensor switch? It's part of the interlock system for both my Atwood Levellegs AND my bedroom slide. I spent about an hour under the dash, and I just couldn't see it amongst the 471 wires that are up under there ๐Ÿ™‚

Jim,
Mine is located on the right side of the pedal close to the top. It is a small white switch with a single blue wire and an adjustment screw.

hmmm ...insulated shop sounds easier. Brings up another interesting question: So when you are sanitizing your water lines do you make some bleach ice cubes to make sure you are getting bleach through those lines as well?

Here is what Dometic says about winterizing ice makers
1. Shut off water supply valve to ice maker
2. Place a shallow pan under water solenoid valve
3. Remove inlet fitting to ice maker water solenoid valve & drain water from the supply line
4. Remove the plastic nut and water line from outlet side of water solenoid valve and drain water from the line. (DO NOT lose metal insert from plastic water line)
5. Connect compressed air onto the inlet fitting of the water solenoid valve. Apply AC power to the solenoid valve by forcing the ice maker mold assembly through several harvest cycles. Remove the plastic cover from the mold assembly. The bail arm must be in the down ("ON") positon. Start the harvest cycle with a flat blade scredriver inserted into the center of the small gear. Turn the gear countercloskwise. When the hold switch closes, the mold assembly will continue to opeate through the harvest cycle. During the water fill sequence of the harvest cycle the compressed air will blow out the water trapped in the solenoid valve. Repeat the harvest cycle operation several times.
NOTE: Up to 20 psig air pressure can be used to clear the valve. Damage to solenoidf can occur if AC power is applied for more thn 20 seconds.
6. Reconnect and tighten lines on water solenoid valve. Metal insert MUST be installed in plastic water line going to outlet side of water solenoid.
7. Dry out ice maker mold assembly with soft cloth. Place bail arm in the "UP/OFF" position

After reading these instruction I think I will just go to South Texas for the winter. It's easier! ๐Ÿ˜„

I have had the squeaky dash plus every now and then when I hit a pretty good dip in the road I hear a much louder rubbing sound coming from the doghouse area. All the #10 X 1" screws that attach the dash to the dog hosue were either loose or missing. I replaced all of them with #14 X 1" screws (Lowes has them), and resealed the joint.

Here's the new issue that you might want to check. Under the coach, behind the headlights and in front of the wheel, there is some square tubing in the shape of a "Y" that is welded to a large piece of channel iron. This is where the doghouse mounts to the frame. Check and make sure the welds have not broken. Don't know if the Service Bulletin has them check the welds or not but a dealer in my area said they have seen a number of them broken on one or both sides.

Also in this area at the top of the "Y" there are some more of the #10 X 1" screws that work loose. I also replaced them with #14 X 1"screws.

You have to disconnect the ice maker water line in the back of the refrig and blow air on both sides of the electric water valve, one up to the ice maker and the other towards where the water comes to the valve. You might not have to do this but I believe in Murphy's Law that if something can go wrong, it will.

Good catch, does flipping the icemaker arm up allow the water to escape if your running air pressure to it?

Just wanted to sya a big THANKS to all who support this thread! I spent the better oart of Monday reading every post and then the next three days working through the list. More than half the issues were pertinent to my 2005 37C.

I'll post a couple of additional issues that I discovered while laying on a creeper under my PA.

THANKS AGAIN!

If you got a washer/dryer and ice maker water lines running up the back of the refrig, don't for get to get the water out of them.

Is blowing out your water lines enough or do you still use antifreeze?

Flushes out pretty easily. I run the water till it's gone. Right after I sanitize I change out the filter. Surprisingly, the new filter removes any chlorine taste.

Pull your filters, fill, flush from each outlet and then rinse like crazy? Do you get a bleach taste afterwards or does it flush out pretty easy?

Enclosed storage has worked pretty well for me, we use are as well. Got caught last year though in a longer very cold freeze - cost me a water pump and both filters.

I never have done the disenfectant thing, wondered if others had.
