New G4 ceiling LEDs

The choice of LED G4 bulbs keeps changing. Several years ago all you could buy were 9 LED G4 to replace the halogen bulbs. Now you can buy 15 LED ones in either 5050 or 5630 size LED BUT they are a tight fit in the round ceiling lights. They end up being off center in the fixture so putting them high up where you can see them... they look bad. Using them above the sofa for better reading light is the only place I'm going to use them and keep the 9 led in the ceiling lights.
For the first time ever I've had problems with buying from China. Bought three 5M 5630 strip lights in warm white. Received bright white and I'm supposed to pay to ship them back for a refund of the purchase price only... read the fine print.

The main key is look at the lumen rating vs # LEDs. to replace a 20W halogen, you want at least 200 lumens.

Ivylog you probably thought of this so excuse me if so. I bought a dozen of those little warm white banjo style G4 bulbs to replace the 10W and 20W halogen bulbs in the 12V puck lights I installed in the RV. The metal leads were too long, which made the install difficult and left the bulb in an off center position. I snipped what ever it took from the leads to make the installation easier and center the bulb in the puck. I also took the UV blocking glass lens out of the puck cover. I figured the LED light would be OK and the bulbs would run cooler without the glass. The new bulbs consume less current for their light output on the 12V circuit compared to the halogens.

Went to the post office and it will cost $15 to ship back. I would not buy from newyork_lin.
