2001 holiday rambler imperial. I put too much strain on the electrical and off it went. We have checked all the breakers (I did notice a urine type smell, when I first went back to flip them), the fuses, the electrical box, the surge protecter.. Can not find any GFI's. Any suggestions?

Showing 0 on the load meter. Inverter works.

We had our 2nd trip in our new to us 03 Holiday Rambler Scepter- plugged in to shore power the management system flashed then stuck on 50-amp even though the shore power was 30. Even though it read 50-amps it was not recognizing shore power., the inverter panel was reading waiting for AC power. Nothing would work. We tried the GFCI hidden on the side of the bedroom draws, there was also one in the engine compartment nothing helped. Found out the 50-30 plug was bad, Bought a new one , still nothing. Read the owners manual, there is a safety feature that shuts everything down if there is an overload or unstable power. With ours you had to start the generator , we ran it for about 1/2 hour everything was working on the generator power. When we shut off the generator it transferred to shore power and everything worked. I guess it's a way of resetting the system . Good luck hope this helps!

Glad you found the problem and it was so easily fixed.

Have you found all the GFI outlets on your coach-- many have TWO.

Push TEST, then RESET.

Esy fix!
Breakers can at times trip internally and not show on handles.

Check for circuit breakers on your inverter/charger. There will usually be two or three breakers on the side of the inverter that are completely separate from your electrical panel.

Well here's what we found. Still cannot find any GFI's on outlets, there are two on the breakers.

But I digress, we tried the turning all the breakers off then the pedestal, then turned the pedestal on then the breakers, it worked! Thank you.

U have a GFI somewhere for sure usually in bathroom but also may be two and there are reset button,s on Inverters that may need to be reset.I have 3 GFI outlets throughout the MH and 2 breakers on my 2008 AB 3000 watt inverter system.Sure sounds like GFI tripped or Inverter needs resetting.I assume the SP breaker is working and power is actually getting to coach??

My coach has 2 GFI circuits...one in the bathroom and one in the basement. If your generator is able to power your coach then I would concentrate on power from the pedestal, your shore power cord, and the ATS. Since your inverter works I would not suspect the breaker panel.

Turn off all breakers in rig applying light pressure toward "off".
Go to pedestal and turn off breaker applying light pressure toward "off". Turn pedestal breaker back on.
Go to breakers in rig. Turn main breaker on, then turn each branch breaker on, one at a time.
Are you using any type of adapter?
Report back!

Dunno if this could cause the problem, but it sounds like battery-outgassing to me (hydrogen sulfide ).

Start at the CG outlet. Flip breaker OFF and back ON.

Do the same to the main breaker in your coach 120 VAC breaker box if the CG outlet was not at fault.

Check that the shore power cord is good (ohm meter from male to female end).

If that doesn't do it AND you are safe working around 120 VAC, with power off, inverter off, generator off, remove the cover of the ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) and check voltage IN and OUT when you plug into shore power and also when you turn on generator.
