No Hot Water Going to Shower

We have no hot water running to the shower. When we took off the plate in front of the shower and feel the lines running underneath; the hot shower line feels like there is no water in it whatsoever. We do have hot water every where else throughout the motor home.

We have searched online, through the manual that came with the motor home, and purchased RV Repair manuals but nothing shows clear diagrams or directions of water lines or how to fix this issue.

We could really use some direction and help with our 2002 Gulf Stream Friendship. It has a Suburban 10 gallon water heater.

WE FIXED IT!! Thank you everyone! All the valve's are positioned and marked incorrectly. I guess one of the downfalls of buying used. We will figure it out though, with some help from friends! Time to go through each one, figure it out and remark them. ๐Ÿ˜„

I don't think we have a mixing valve or cartridge as our shower is a 2 piece system. But please correct me if we are not looking in the correct spot. We took apart the faucets and all looks fine. Nothing is corroded or blocked. Going to shut the water off to the outside shower now and try that. Everything is on going to the shower. I'm going to take some pictures and post them. I hope that will give a better idea of what we're looking at and doing.

We really appreciate everyone's help!

Since the op has hot water everywhere except the shower it would seem the problem is AT the shower. Clogged line from crud in water heater or mixing valve maybe?

No hot water......and you don't think ANY water in line

I take it you ave HOT water at other faucets?

Then like 'mike brez' it sounds like issue is within the shower divert valve
Some can be dis-assembled----some have to be replaced
Is it time for your medication or mine?

This post is my opinion (free advice). It is not intended to influence anyone's judgment nor do I advocate anyone do what I propose.

Make sure also that all valves are ON going to hot water out from the water heater.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

a few things to check:
Is your water heater bypassed from winterization?
Did you drain your water heater and perhaps it has an air pocket in it?
Is your water heater element or lp burner on/running?
Is your outdoor shower faucet on?

If all else is good then it may be your mixing valve in the shower faucet itself is bad. Most are cartridge and easy to swap out. Take the old on to Lowes and match it up.
