No House Power on Thor Hurricane - Help

I lost all power inside the RV. Both house and engine batteries are new. The house power only works when the generator is running. Otherwise, no lights, microwave, refrigerator etc.

Motor engine is running fine. I checked all the fuses and they seem to be fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks everyone for chiming in.
No, this is while not plugging in and only running on battery. Let me try the black box reset as suggested. I had the BCC recall done recently and that wasn't it. None of the breaker under bed tripped so I know that wasn't it either. The auto-leveler works fine, just no lights and the vent fan is not working.

LA88,
Thor issued a Safety Recall Notice - 13V-265 earlier this year that covers 2007 - 2013 Hurricanes. The Battery Control Center (BCC) installed by Thor are defective, "which may result in all power to the chassis portion of the motorhome to be lost, including all lighting". All Camping World locations are aware to this recall and will repair at no cost, or call Thor at 877-855-2867 for instructions where to get repaired.

Top, Center of your engine compartment, there should be a black box about 8" square. This houses your 12V controls. Inside, there is a small push-button, 50 amp breaker for your 12V. When we had a 2006 Hurricane 34N, this breaker would pop on occasion for no obvious reason.

The assumption is that you are plugged in and that you lost power. When that happened your batteries did take over most of your functions through the inverter. You then started your generator and had electricity to all systems again. You use the microwave as your measure of whether there is power.

My micro does not work normally off the batteries but some outlets and many lights do so if you have lost all lights you have a problem with house 12 volt as well as external shore power. If my description is accurate then your problem is with the inverter or converter and you also have a poor shore power connection perhaps inspired by a surge. When fixed get a surge protector.

My microwave only works when the generator is running, it sounds like the battery disconnect switch is off. Did you have the recall done recently?

Check your power cord. I had this happen to me, found loose connection on cord.

Check the circuit breaker at the power pedestal if on shore power.

If running on inverter the check the circuit breakers on the inverter.

Sounds like a bad transfer switch or converter on most of them the converter is a deck mount if so you should have a plug on the back of the fuse box unplug the converter and plug it into a extention cord to the pedastal and see if you have power

It also could be as simple as a gfi plug needs reset

Coach power for microwave and receptacles is 120 AC volts.
Are you plugged into shore power?
Try cycling your battery disconnect for the coach. Some are marked as "aux". If unsure, cycle both the chassis and coach batter disconnects.
Converter works off 120 volt AC. Since the coach works when genset is operating doubt whther it is the reverse polarity fuses in the converter.

I had a similar problem & my fuse blew on the back of my converter.

I'm sure the experts will chime in here with more info shortly.
