refrigerator beeps when bathroom lights are turned on

We are in a park hooked up to shore power. When the bathroom lights are turned on the refrigerator beeps like it is trying to choose AC or LP. We had the radio on. It shuts off when the bathroom lights are turned on. It comes back on when they are turned off. Suggestions are appreciated!

Florescent or incandescent and if the former, they can cause all kinds of weird phenomenon in an RV.
All else fails, remove the ballast and get the LED type tubes for operating without a ballast and save a little energy in the process.

Possible. One of my ballasts would shut off the thermostat. Replaced all lights with LED's and the issue was solved.

Also check the refer ground wire for good contact. A resistance in that connect will mimic a low voltage situation. That is what my problem was at one time in the past.

Had the same problem exactly. Batteries would charge with a portable battery charger but not with converter when hooked to shore power. Needed a new converter.

Had a similar issue, the 3 fuses on the inverter/charger were blown. Good luck.

Thank you for the replies. We had our coach in for some repairs and it looks like they didn't keep the batteries charged. We will check it out. Thanks, again!

Concur. Reads like you converter/charger might have decided it's had enough and the batteries are at their limit. Being plugged into shore power if you have anything less than say 12.8 VDC then the charger/converter needs to be looked at.
