RV Memory Foam Mattress

So I am ready to replace my RV King size mattress with a memory foam type, Amazon has good deals on low cost memory foam RV king size mattress..

Does anyone have one of these brands and if so how is its quality and does it sleep cool or hot or hard or etc..

Just a word of caution on the memory foam... it is VERY susceptible to temperature changes. We bought a temprupedic for the house, it was very hot to sleep on (retained body heat). We "upgraded" to a breeze model and it doesn't hold the body heat near as much (good) but we like to sleep with the windows open as much as possible (outside temp anywhere from 45 degrees to about 65). The memory foam gets VERY hard below about 60 degrees. We eventually got rid of it too in favor of a sleep number. I have just begun the search for a "replacement" mattress for our Navion iQ. I say replacement because the original design is a fold down dinette and I am going to put the mattress on top of what is there since we have never used it as a dinette in over 5 years.

Maybe try the Brentwood 12" HD Memory Foam Special RV Replacement Mattress, its in the link above, comments on Amazon is its on the soft side, I went with the Dynasty because it was listed on the firm side..

The Tempurpedic plant is located just off I-40 in western Albuquerque, NM. Perhaps if you stop by there they MAY let you try the different densities of foam mattresses before you invest your money in one that is too soft or too hard. Don't know whether or not they have samples for you to try since I have only driven by the plant and not stopped. It can be seen from the Camping World parking lot.

Just to give a update on my new Dynasty mattress, I slept on it last night for 1st time and it was great, nice and firm with just the right amount of softness and not hot like other memory foam beds, for only $600.00 delivered included 2 gel pillows I will have to say money well spent, it sleeps better than the $1200 memory foam mattress in our home, this is one of Amazons top selling memory foam beds and they also have sizes for RV's..

I had memory foam mattresses made at a local mattress manufacture. Had a queen and bot bunks made to order. It was an option for me perhaps for you also...there are lots of mattress manufactures in Southern California...just a thought

I got an 8 inch back in late 06 when I got my new mh. I had to cut it down a couple inches. I don't remember the brand name, either from Walmart or Sam's. Never regretted it.

I have a cheap King Mattress w/ 4inch memory foam ($90.00)on top and a cushioned mattress cover ($50.00) and sleep like a baby! Most comfortable bed I've every had ... Cheap ... would put its comfort up against any expensive set up out there
