Our 2004 Georgie Boy Pursuit was stolen from the locked lot in the community we live in on July 11,2016 in the early morning hours. We are devastated, we bought new and have taken excellent care of her. We were leaving next Friday on our first ever month long trip. This after having to put my 14 year old Jack Russell down that we have had since she was a baby, last Tuesday. We are struggling with the loss of both.

One item.. If your Motor home is a gasser (Do not know if this applies to Diesels) and has an OBD II connector then you have a little something you can get from your cellular phone provider.. If you have a SMART PHONE this is a great device for several reasons.. I have a stripped down version in my car.

The Cellular one provides several features

It monitors the engine computer (Mine too)
Allows your Smart PHone to connect via Blue Tooth, or Wi-Fi and display several missing gauges (Mine is BT only)
Allows you to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi (and possibly Blue tooth) (mine does not have this feature)

Allows you to access the device over the web.

KNOWS WHERE IT IS (GPS built in)

And may even allow you to send a "kill" command to the Engine control computer
(useful when the police are chaseing)

Imagine that.. Your Rig rolls off without you.. You get out your phone, buzz the Fuzz, My RV has been stolen it's a Make/Model/Color/License and is currently north bound on I-95 at Mile Markewr 50 per GPS.

Going to be a good day for some Law enforcement officer.

(As a retired police dispatcher Been there and done that as it were)

Hi,

I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of your pet and of your motorhome. Pets are wonderful companions, but the cycle of life dictates the unavoidable sadness of their loss. We just have to remember all of the great memories we have while they were with us.

I am pretty familiar with the GBM Pursuit line in that era. We almost purchased a Pursuit (the 3475DS model with two sofas) when we opted to go a bit larger and get the Cruise Master 3625DS model (also with two sofas) instead. Aside from some initial quality issues, we've been very happy with our motorhome and have YET to find a gasser with a floorplan that we'd like better. So, yes, I can understand how attached you have become to your motorhome and howupsetting these times are for you.

I hope they find your motorhome in pristine condition, regardless of how unlikely that scenario might be. We can hope and pray that it was just taken by some "joy riders" out for a night of "fun".

Good Luck and God Bless,

~Rick

Sorry to hear about your dog. We lost a 12 year-old Labrador back in mid-April. A big cancer tumor on his spine, just forward of his hips, locked out movement of his back legs and tail. We took him to the vet with a bed-sheet holding his back legs off the ground. There was nothing they could do for him, so we said goodbye.

We still have his 13-year-old best buddy (another Lab) but who knows for how long.

My sympathies on the loss of your dog. We are dog people and every time we lose one it's like losing a family member. Regarding the loss of your coach it may be better at this point if it is not recovered.

Oh my God. I'm so sorry. What an awful thing to happen. Such a selfish act on the person who did this, but then again that's what thieves are, selfish and self centered. I'm so sorry too over the loss of your beloved terrier of 14 years. Words cannot adequately express my condolences, but I understand since we've lost four beloved pets.

Please keep us posted on your motorhome. As hard as it is right now, some good will come of this.

Maybe you could post a picture here. too? It's a long shot, to be sure, but perhaps some crowd sourcing would help. Certainly hope they catch the thieves and throw the book at them, but that may not be the most likely outcome.

We feel for you also. Hopefully the coach will turn up and not be badly damaged. It makes one feel violated.

We just lost our little boy Jack Russell a few months back. We lost our girl JR 2 years back.
The girl was 12 and the boy was only 11, darned cancer!!

We just one month ago got another boy JR and he sure is cute. That said we still miss the other 2 and always will.
