have 2 slides on my Coachman leprechaun. I have seen slide spray to keep the slide running smoother as well was spray for the seals. Are all of these actually needed or are they just marketing sales tactics.

Check the owner's manual for your slides. Ours says the only maintenance needed is to check the rails clear of debris.

I used the spray on my slide gears. It stuck so well that it stuck a small rock to the gear teeth causing the rock to break the gear when it meshed with the drive gears. That would not have happen if I didn't use the spray. Never used it again with no more problems.

It is very beneficial to maintain your slide-outs to avoid future water damage, drafts and overall mechanical issues.
