Squeak between chassis and house

Hi, we have a 2000 30ft Tioga c-class which just past 100,000kms today. Over the last year it has started to make squeaking noises from between where the chassis meets the house part of the RV when driving down the road. Is there something I can put between the two to stop the squeak. The only way to drown it out is turn up the stereo. Our highway is very wavy with gravel patches and this is what caused it I think.

I have been on roads in Phoenix, Tucson and Vegas that are rougher than a lot of the roads in the "Far North"
Road from Edmonton to Yellowknife is better than I+95. Crossing the 49th does not take you back to the early 1900's. We even have overpasses high enough for motorhomes to get under, :B

You can only fix it by purchasing a new motorhome. Spraying lubricant will only mask the problem.

As time goes on and miles accumulate, chassis get more flex to them and the gap between the chassis and the house will experience some flexing motion. It can be re-caulked, resealed, or you can lubricate the seal to help with the noise, but there really is no cure for chassis flex.

I had the same problem with my 2001 Jayco.The screws that hold house to cab came loose, I replaced screws with bolts.

Before you shoot ANY lubricant at anything that is not metal, shoot a piece of styrofoam (like a cup) with it first. It it attacks the styrofoam, do not use it on rubbers, plastics, etc. just to be safe. Styrofoam is sensitive to solvents so it's a pretty good "canary".

Check the rubber mounts between the chassis and the house, they often get dust filled and dry out a bit. Spray them with a spray lubricant such as Jig-A-Loo and the squeak should go away.
