Towing C-Max

Hi to all you C-Max owners.
I have joined your ranks with a new C-Max Hybrid. I have PM'D with some of you and thanks so much for your input. But, I have additional questions that others might help me with.
1. Where did you get your base plate? (Best prices) I already have a Blue Ox Aventa tow bar.
2. Who did you get to put the base plate on? I live 75 miles from Dallas.
3. What are you using for toad braking? If ready brute, who puts those on or is it simple enough for me to do?
4. Most of you suggested a charge line. Who did that for you or can I do it myself?

Discount Hitch in Lewisville, TX installed the baseplate, charge line, brake light diodes and emergency disconnect. While I live in San Antonio I have had other dealings with Brandon at this location. He is very helpful and their work was excellent.

I have a Blue Ox Patriot brake box because it is for use with a hybrid. You must be very careful what system you use because of the regenerative brake system on the C Max.
