I am splint between a sprinter B or C

First question, it just seems like a major PIA to clean the shower room so you use the toilet in a wet bath situation, comments?

second, is anyone towing a really small car, like smart car or so?, like to hear your experience traversing a grade

thanks

I can't imagine wet baths being practical for extended periods. I know my sister has the wet bath in their Roadtrek 190 but don't use it

You won't be happy with the wet bath or the size of the bath in a B. Check out Phoenix Cruiser. Their units are high quality, and they are not the width or height of the typical Ford class C RV. Plus they wil do some alterations of their standard floor plans if need be or wanted.....
They will tow up to 5k, and you can choose between the 350 or 450 chassis if you order one, or they have one in stock like you want

Just wanted to let you know you might want to check on towing your Miata. We have a 2010 with a manual and ours is not flat towable.

Hey Butch,

You should have checked some of the threads HERE. I towed a 2000 Miata 5-speed over 35,000 miles and have now towed my 2010 and my 2012 6-speed retractable hardtops over 20,000 miles.

In the past 8 years, I have helped nearly 100 other Miata owners (MANY still on this forum) to get their Miatas RV towable.

That's what I get for believing the manuals. I would like to be able to tow the Miata also at times so I'll have to look it to it also.

Thanks for the info.

We sometimes tow a smart car on a trailer with our little C. Combo weighs about 2300 pounds plus or minus. The V10 doesn't know its even there. If you pull it 4 down it will be even lighter.

I really do like the Sprinter motorhomes. I think they are cute and compact and would be really great for traveling. The wet bath is a deal killer for us though. We use our bathroom and I have no desire to deal with the inconvenience of the wet bath.

We looked for a small motorhome to take to Alaska. We never found one with all the features we wanted in our price range. We bought a 2004 RVision Trail-Lite. It is 22 feet long and has a bath across the back with a bathtub. It was still cramped compared to our Phaeton, but it was sufficient and we used it a lot on our trip to Alaska last year. It also "almost" parked in one parking space wherever we went.

We decided to keep the little one after our Alaska trip so we could do some traveling on the east coast in a smaller vehicle. We just bought a Mazda Miata to tow behind her. The Miata is under 3000 lbs and is a fun car to drive.

Just wanted to let you know you might want to check on towing your Miata. We have a 2010 with a manual and ours is not flat towable. That is the reason that we just ordered a new 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek. It weighs just over 3000# also and is AWD with a manual.

We are buying a 2015 Winnebago View Profile. We pick it up this week so needed something light to tow behind it. I also need/want AWD because I like to explore on not very nice roads lots of time when we travel. My wife tells me if there is a dead end road around I'll find it. :B

We have what I'd call a "large" bath (for an RV, sorta like saying "giant shrimp") but we rarely use our shower. That tells me a Wet Bath might not be a deal breaker in its own right. But I'm convinced we'd go claustrophobic in a B (van-bodied) coach.

B+, C-, whatever you call it, maybe. Suggest you include Phoenix Cruiser in your search. Certain of their very nice smaller "C" (B+ if you prefer, there's a fairing not a bunk over the cab) models are available on Sprinter.
