tatest has it right. You probably won't find a Class C with a slide less than 11 feet. My 2005 Four Winds 28A is about 10' 9", IIRC.

Many C's without basement storage or slideouts should come in under 11 foot height. You would thus be looking for "entry level" models on Ford or Chevy platform (the Sprinter already sits too high before adding the basement).

These models will have put the floor of the house right atop the chassis frame rails. "Basement" models raise the floor 8 to 12 inches to make more space for water tanks, storage bins, and to install slideout mechanisms below the floor. On Ford or Chevy, most of these will be under 12 feet, but almost always higher than 11.

You might look for a Fleetwood brand RV in the 2000 to the 2007 years.

My 2006 Tioga is only 10' 5'' at the highest point which is the A/C unit. As seen in my signature. Of course it is on a Chevy Chassis the Fords may be taller.

Good luck..

You will find them under 11 foot but the ac unit on the top puts it over 12.

I had a custom built garage made especially for my MH. And we DID measure to include the ac unit to clear the size door installed.

Only thing was the concrete driveway up to the building........the incline of the concrete driveway put the MH on an angle going in and that increased the height of the front end ever so slightly where the ac unit was and my MH would NOT fit under the door. She never saw the inside of a building built especially for her. ๐Ÿ˜ž

Soooooo, make SURE to check the incline into your building also along with making sure to measure the MH to the top of the ac unit.
