Having headlights that are not very bright, I finally got around to measuring voltage at the headlights (with headlights on). I have 13.7 volts at the cranking battery at 1000 rpm. At the headlights, I only have 11.5. No wonder I don't have full lighting. According to the Daniel Stern website, I'm losing almost 50% of my lighting due to voltage drop.

Time for some heavy wiring and 30 amp relays. At least it is a relatively cheap fix. ๐Ÿ™‚

Replaced my 19" crt TV with 26" LCD/DVD, what an improvement! Required a bit of cabinet rework but worth the effort.

Installed the Silverleaf VMSpc system--cool! :C

Speaking of "cool" today I will try again to install the new circuit board for the heat pump. Had a couple of Mexican A/C guys get the A/C working when the board failed in Mexico, but now I have to figure out where the two wires they disconnected are supposed to go! To add to the confusion the replacement board is an upgrade, nothing like the original and there is a page long list of wiring changes to make! :h

Drilled a small hole in the back of the bedroom closet and ran a heavy duty power strip cord through the hole into the engine compartment. Plugged it into the 120 volt outlet in the engine compartment that Monaco put there to power the engine block heater. We don't use that much in south Texas. Plugged the gap with spray foam.

Now I have 120 volt power in the closet to run my wireless laserjet without the ugly wires showing up in the bedroom.

Today I had the motorhome washed, waxed, and detailed, but not to my satisfaction. I will tackle the aluminum wheels again myself. I also replaced the OEM oil pan drain valve with a Fumoto. This is my second attempt, as the last time I had the wrong valve.

I removed the 2 12volt batteries and installed 4 6 volt batteries in place. I also added a 1000 watt inverter as to run my new basement size combo refrigerator/freezer 110 volt, and my hieneken draft keg cooler 110 volt and now I need to run a line up to the microwave oven so we can heat up the dog food to feed our 'Furby' all while dry camping and not running the generator. Oh yea and make a pot of coffee with the under the counter coffee maker. This RVing is soo coool.

Added "summer air" to the tires that needed it, and installed the new TST TPMS sensors on the coach and toad. Everything works like it should, and the TST monitor reads the toad sensors just fine, even though it's parked about 50 ft away.

Changed the oil and filter in the generator. Maintained the toilet ball valve, drained the black and gray in preparation for moving out tomorrow for stick house after 4 months on the road. Stowed the 100 foot sewer line for use the next time we come to our son's place.

Not thrilled to be coming off the road, but we head out again in less than 2 months. How bad can it be?

I cleaned the ABS sensors.. Will know tomorrow if it solves the "Check ABS" problem (I suspect it may well do that) no evidence of damage to the sensors and they all cleaned up bright and shiny.
