Looks like a week for Batteries!

I replaced my two coach batteries with AGMs. The ones that came with the coach go dead in a week or less just sitting. The AGMs were from another vehicle that is no longer mine. They were charged up in early March and have held their charge all this time.

We shall see.

Monday Camping World replaced the single LNB dish with a Winegard dome so can get both 110 and 119 satellites. If I'm paying for the channels at home, I also want to see them in the motor home. Also replaced the 4 house batteries (10 years old) with 4 "gold plated" Interstate batteries while at Camping World. Exercised the generator (running the front A/C) while driving home in the 80-90ยฐF heat. By the time we reached home the temps were in the upper 70's with a breeze off Lake Superior.

Today got the panel off the bathroom wall to remove the hot water heater switch. Called HR parts to order a replacement switch. $10 for that itty-bitty lighted switch (coming from the vendor in Indiana).

Installed 2 LED lights to replace the 1157 bulbs in a ceiling light. Not impressed as the light is only "directed" like a flashlight. More research needed.

Finally dumped the tanks from staying Sunday night at the Camping World.

I would stick with fluorescent lights until they figure out the led issues of viewing angle and color.

Covered the stove top with tin foil. Should last all summer.

Closed bottom drains and filled the water tanks....ran demand pump....check for leaks...etc, etc, etc, So far no leaks.

Put slide out...Awning over slide is history...Not going to get thru this year...road trip to shop, scheduled next week

more to come...IT'S ONLY MONEY

Over the last three days I:
1. Installed a tap in the utility closet that will provide me with a dedicated source of water to connect to the black water tank flush.
2. Lubed the chassis.
3. Installed two power sun visors.

We are away at a music festival so our kids can compete so today we are parked on a street (not camping just parked) we have a full size electric piano and are using the motorhome for a practice room for piao and voice. This is the best way to go to these things, you have your own private space and all the comforts of home . parked on the street running the generator stealing(borrowing) internet
