It's going to be weeks before we can even consider camping. We've had a spring, winter is returning for a brief stay. Colder and possible snow this weekend.

I replaced the fuel pump and it started right up. It was nice that it failed in the driveway and not on the road somewhere!

Gonzo,

Yes you were lucky, no crack block. The next big question is where did the gallon of fluid go? The most probable cause is a crack overflow tank, but I would keep an eye on the water pump's weep hole for signs of leaking, and also the oil. Not to make you nervous, but blown head gaskets can happen.

I bought a 2 1/2 inch memory foam mattress topper at Sam's club today. We are hopping this takes the edge off our too firm mattress.

Going out to the storage location right this minute to deliver a bunch of things I've been accumulating over the winter. Tried to get in there 2 weeks ago but too much snow and ice and mud. I've got a screen room, dishes, towels, cd's, and all kinds of new things for Lucy.

It's still not nice enough to get her out and de-winterize but we can pretend we're heading out somewhere for a few minutes! Won't be long now!!

We live in L'Andante now, so yesterday we drove over to the propane place for a fillup, added fuel, and returned to the campground. Today we'll continue figuring out where to store stuff -- this is more stuff than we've ever, ever had on board. Luckily, it's mostly consumables, so we're eating very well...

Gonzo,
