Still working on fine tuning the amount of stuff that we stuff into the thing! Got rid of some, added more. :S

Weather is unsettled so we're dodging showers.

Changed the chassis batteries and made up new 2/0 cables for the parallel connections.

Head south in 3 weeks.

Lodge Cast is not very good. better off going to flea markets and looking for Wagner or better yet Griswald. They have incredibly smooth finishes that simply are non-stick without teflon or other chemicals. Aluminum for cooking is simply a bad choice for so many reasons.

I think ya' lost me on that one. Not really adrift from the subject, unless your a purest, or maybe I'm misunderstanding your post. To clarify, it was purchased to supplement the methods of cooking while using the "Class A" RV. In the near 60 years I've been cooking and using cast iron for both home and camp cooking I've never really had a problem with cast iron, Lodge or otherwise, especially cast iron BBQ grills, or even modern style cast aluminum grills as the cooking grids are high quality steel. Most of the cast iron I currently use were handed down from my great grandmother, the others came from the grandmother of a friend, so some are well over a hundred years old, they are well seasoned and I am well versed in their care.

Well getting ready for my next big dog show so took the RV in
for oil change... noticed water dropping down on the dash.
Well Speedy Auto Glass noticed the windshield pulling away from the
seal... so getting it properly sealed before heading on the road.
Last year it was the driver's windshield...
